Note: Some positions may require P.O.S.T. certification. Preferred Qualification: One year of full-time experience as an Assistant Superintendent at a correctional facility operated by the Georgia Department of Corrections. Or one year of full-time experience as a Deputy Warden of Security, Deputy Warden of Care and Treatment, or Deputy Warden of Administration at a state prison operated by the Georgia Department of Corrections. Or completion of an undergraduate degree in criminal justice, one of the behavioral sciences (e.g. Counseling, psychology sociology, etc.), or a related field at a four year college or university.
