    Maximus is currently hiring for a HEALTH PLAN CUSTOMER COORDINATOR ! This position will work with program staff, health plan representatives, the Department of Health (DOH) and the Bureau of Long-Term Care and Advocates to resolve transactional issues.

    THIS POSITION IS FULL TIME AND REMOTE IN THE STATE OF NEW YORK.

    ABOUT THE NEW YORK INDEPENDENT ASSESSOR (NYIA)

    Formerly known as the Conflict Free Evaluation and Enrollment Center (CFEEC), this program assesses people who have chronic illnesses or disabilities for their eligibility for community based long term services and supports and assists them to enroll in Managed Long Term Care health plans.

    JOB SUMMARY

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Conduct outreach to obtain pertinent consumer information and identify parties to receive notification of impending assessment appointment.

    • Conduct timely outreach and meet productivity targets related to scheduling assessment appointments with all appropriate individuals identified and document all outreach activities for tracking and reporting purposes.

    • Assist in coordinating last minute scheduling changes to ensure assessment appointments are completed and quickly communicate updates to appropriate parties.

    • Provide administrative support to the Operations Support Management staff.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • High School diploma or equivalent with 0-2 years of experience in a customer service environment.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    WHAT YOU WILL NEED

    • High School Diploma or equivalent

    • 2+ years of related work experience

    • Ability to implement policies, procedures and enrollment processes

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Power Point, and Word

    • Excellent written and oral communicational skills

    • Ability to travel within the state of New York as required by the business

    HOME OFFICE REQUIREMENTS:

    • Reliable high-speed internet service

    • Minimum 20 Mpbs download speeds/50 Mpbs for shared internet connectivity

    • Minimum 5 Mpbs upload speeds

    PAY TRANSPARENCY

    Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation shall be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Min: USD $35,000.00/Yr. - Max: USD $48,000.00/Yr.
