    Vendor Management Specialist Job Summary The Vendor Relations Specialist I is the liaison between HireRight and its suppliers with primary responsibility for supporting and interfacing with the vendor network by managing their outstanding searches. Duties Obtaining and updating status information on searches over 48 hours old if attempts to expedite the return of the search are unsuccessful (late list). Coordinating with Support Service Representatives to ensure prompt resolution of client concerns which includes but not limited to status checks and rechecks. Handling initial contacts with vendors when technical problems are discovered (Web court, CasePro, fax server, email, User ID's and PW) Manages Vendor Inbox to address inquiries and escalations from ground researchers or vendors Liaison for all communication with criminal vendor network and HireRight staff Responsible for correctly navigating web sites that facilitate completion of assigned tasks (NINJA, BRB, State Statutes, etc). Contact Support Services to obtain additional information as requested by Vendors in order to complete searches (missing identifiers, case numbers, etc.). Education High School diploma or GED required Associate or Bachelors Degree preferred Skills Entry level for less complex support and administrative roles requiring basic knowledge of standardized rules, and some previous training or experience. Has some knowledge, experience and skill in applying straightforward procedures. Understands how ones work relates to, or coordinates with, the work of others in the unit. Demonstrates one or more specialized skills for a variety of activities.
