    Housecall Pro is headquartered in beautiful San Diego, CA and has recently announced plans for a Denver, CO hub. We are currently fully remote, although excited to introduce a hybrid work model in the future that will allow for a combination of both remote and in-office work. We are currently open to candidates in San Diego or Denver, or those planning to move there.

    THE ROLE: TECHNICAL RECRUITER

    We are looking for an experienced Technical Recruiter who is passionate about candidate experience and finding the right person for the right role within Housecall Pro. Reporting to the Manager, People Operations, you will play a key role in attracting candidates, working with hiring managers and creating top notch recruiting processes. 

    We're excited about someone who is well organized and dedicated to providing a great experience to every single candidate. You will have the opportunity to work with many key stakeholders in the company to expand their teams and aid in all recruiting cycles. In this role, you'll work with a talented and dedicated People Team. Our mission as a department is to be the champion of our culture. We find great people and help them do their best work everyday. 

    The ideal candidate brings experience in several of the following areas: technical recruiting (i.e., Engineering, Analytics and Product roles), college campus recruiting, candidate sourcing and employer branding. Here you will use your recruiting experience to tackle the challenge of a rapidly scaling company. 

    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

    • Work with hiring managers to follow and iterate upon existing recruiting processes in place
    • Post job descriptions onto Housecall Pro career pages as well as a variety of job boards
    • Screen resumes and conduct initial phone screens for roles
    • Create questionnaire templates unique to each role as well as establish scorecard competencies for each roles
    • Source candidates via LinkedIn or other sourcing platforms, including niche platforms like Stack Overflow, Angel List, etc.
    • Be an expert in our Applicant tracking system (ATS) Breezy so that we are using it to its full potential
    • Diligently manage all scheduling and coordination of candidates and interviewers
    • Maintain relationships with local colleges and universities as well as coordinating ‘meetups' (currently virtual) with students to create a robust pipeline for college recruiting 
    • Promote Housecall Pro's reputation across social media to promote employer awareness
    • Keep up-to-date with new technological and recruiting trends and products

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • You are excited about Housecall Pro and our mission and are able to articulate that to candidates
    • You wake up thinking about creating an awesome candidates experience
    • You are eager to continue to grow in your career as a recruiter
    • You are passionate about finding an eclectic and diverse variety of candidates
    • You have a proven work experience as a Technical Recruiter or Recruiter
    • You like to have fun at work (yes, it's in the job description)
    • You have hands-on experience with various interview formats (e.g. phone, Zoom and structured)
    • Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for R&D roles such as Software Engineering, Product Management, etc. 
    • You are familiar with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
    • You have solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g. social media recruiting and Boolean search)
    • You are an excellent verbal and written communicator
