    Job Description

    Under general supervision, is responsible for providing guidance, roadmaps, principles,standards, and best practices. Enables business and IT leaders to make investment decisions that balance and prioritize current operational demands, disruptions, and opportunities with the longer-term strategic vision. Provides strategic consultation to business partners in defining or designing business processes and technical functions on complex and/or system-wide projects. May exercise technical supervision.

    7:45 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday

    Essential Job Functions

    • Defines the request and review processes and leads the integration of those processes with related business and IT processes.
    • Develops and maintains the architectural runway across a platform, identifies enablers at the enterprise/portfolio level, and balances between intentional architecture and emergent design.
    • Researches, identifies, and internally markets enabling technologies based on business partner requirements.
    • Orchestrates IT's delivery of business value from technology, working closely with product management across platforms.
    • Provides overall direction, guidance, and definition of technology architecture in platforms to effectively support business strategy.
    • Reviews and leads the development of an implementation plan for the enterprise architecture of platforms based on business requirements and IT strategies.
    • Reviews existing business processes and establishes metrics and approves design to improve processes, as well as support of all architectural disciplines under their direction.
    • Leads the identification and analysis of enterprise business drivers.
    • Responsible for defining the direction for future projects.
    • Provides technical guidance and consultation to subordinate architects.
    • Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
    • Six (6) years of IT and business/industry work experience including architecture design and deployment, systems life cycle management and infrastructure planning and operations.
