DUTIES :
The IT Systems Support Specialist provides advanced Tier II technical support and infrastructure implementation assistance across the CGES enterprise network. This position serves as a critical bridge between Helpdesk operations and Senior Network Engineering functions. The incumbent works with autonomy and technical confidence on complex system tasks, network connectivity, endpoint deployments, and enterprise rollouts, and network modernization. This role supports infrastructure projects, elevated support tickets, system diagnostics, security configurations, and device management across headquarters and field environments. The ITSSS collaborates with multiple teams to ensure the secure, stable, and efficient operation of CGES’s IT assets, both centrally and at distributed sites.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED :
Minimum :
1. Associate Degree in Information Technology, Computer Networking, or related field; or High School Diploma/GED with three (3) years of progressive experience in IT support with infrastructure responsibilities.
2. Demonstrated experience in configuring, deploying, and maintaining hardware in a multi-location environment, including servers, switches, wireless access points, and firewalls.
3. Strong knowledge of Windows-based environments, including desktop and server platforms, with experience in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy troubleshooting.
4. Hands-on experience using remote support tools and ticketing systems for incident tracking and resolution.
5. Ability to travel occasionally to support remote store or HQ infrastructure initiatives.
6. Willingness to provide after-hours and weekend support as part of an on-call rotation.
Preferred (in addition to the minimum):
1. Industry certifications such as: CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Fortinet NSE 3 or 4
2. Active Microsoft MCSE and/or CCNA, CCNP certification or equivalent.
3. Experience supporting retail infrastructure and POS systems .
