WHAT DOES AN ADJUDICATOR DO?As an Adjudicator you will be responsible for conducting an examination of a persons character or conduct over time, resulting in a favorable or unfavorable determination of their employment suitability, eligibility for access to classified information, materials, areas, or for their retention in Federal employment. Specialized experience for this position includes: reviewing and evaluating criminal history fingerprint results and/or complete background investigations; conducting employment pre-screen determinations; recommending adjudicative actions; obtaining arrest disposition information; reviewing and evaluating suitability and security applications; composing documents, reports and correspondence involving technical information; and analyzing case information. OR You may substitute education for specialized experience as follows: Masters or equivalent graduate degree in a field of study such as: criminal justice, security administration, or other related field. OR 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a graduate degree in a field of study such as: criminal justice, security administration, or other related field from an accredited college or university.
