    Corium, a multi-state organization with operations in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company.  We are leading the development of new transdermal healthcare products that provide clinicians with the important treatment options for patients and their families.  We are innovators focused on developing, manufacturing and commercializing specialty CNS pharmaceuticals from our own pipeline.  Collaborating with some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical and consumer product companies, we have a track record of taking products from concept through development to commercial manufacturing.  Our passion is improving the lives of patients and families.

     

    Currently, we seek a CONTRACT QUALITY COORDINATOR – DOCUMENT CONTROL who will assist in the Quality Management System (QMS) harmonization efforts between Corium sites to ensure one functioning Quality Management System across the enterprise.  THIS POSITION IS A TEMPORARY/CONTRACT ROLE, ANTICIPATED TO LAST APPROXIMATELY 6 – 12 MONTHS.  As a CONTRACT QUALITY COORDINATOR, you will:

     

    • Perform general duties, including filing, scanning, archiving, and data transcription to name a few
    • Maintain QMS logs and files
    • Coordinate change control collaboration meetings to ensure effective and timely document change control approvals
    • Revise, rewrite, and combine Corium standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, job aids, and specifications utilizing technical writing skills

     

    We believe a CONTRACT QUALITY COORDINATOR will be set up for success if they are an independent self-motivator with a high level of attention to detail.  We also see them as an excellent communicator who possess the following:

     

    • High school diploma or GED – required
    • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a science discipline – preferred
    • Minimum of 1 – 2 years of relevant experience / training – required
    • Proven record of accurate documentation – required
    • Ability to follow written instructions and procedures - required
    • Ability to work independently under limited supervision and escalate issues as appropriate – required
    • High level of skill working in MS Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint – required
    • Experience working in Access and SharePoint – preferred
    • Understanding of scientific principles and technical writing – preferred
    • Knowledge and understanding of Change Control process – preferred
    • Knowledge of Quality Assurance principles, ISO 9001/13485 and FDA cGMP regulations – preferred
