    (I&D) practice providesinvestigative consultingservices. The I&D practice is staffed witha multidisciplinary team ofprofessionals including former prosecutors, law enforcement officers, journalists,forensic accountants, technologists and others.Our services line includecomplex investigations, litigationand other business disputematters related to embezzlement,allegations of fraud and/or irregularities, contract disputes,due diligence, and computer forensics. To this end, Kroll is seeking to recruit anexperienced Senior Director to manage corporate investigations, fraud prevention, business intelligence gathering,and risk management consultingengagements. PositionOverview: Our Internssupport Krolls overall investigative process by assisting our research staffand case managers. This is a paid internship. Responsibilities: * Perform specific research tasks and analyzefindings for scoping purposes, business development efforts or activeinvestigations * Assistresearch team in performing database research and analysis on a variety ofpublic information databases * Writesummaries of media references to the subject or issue at hand * Performlitigation searches on a variety of databases, review court documents,summarize the dispute at hand and relevant case filings * Assistin conducting investigative interviews or monitoring tasks * Writesummary reports based on public record or source inquiry findings * Manageall available in an innovative way to achieve best possible advantagewithin applicable budgets and timelines * Graduatestudent at accredited University majoring in international affairs/studies,journalism, political science, or other related areas of study * Priorinvestigative or research experience in business, stock analysis or journalismreporting strongly preferred * Demonstratedaccurate and thorough research capability * Demonstratedability to write clearly and informatively; edits work for spelling andgrammar; varies writing style to meet needs; presents numericaldata effectively; able to read and interpret writteninformation; meets set deadlines * Availabilityto work between 40 hours per week during the summer Thisjob description is a summary of job requirements and duties and is not intendedto be an exhaustive list of all areas of responsibilities. ** ** Company Overview: Kroll is the leading global provider of risk solutions.
