    Duties

    As a Management Analyst you will:

    • Serve as an advisor and liaison between management and Human Resources Office coordinating all aspects of domestic and international personnel policy and standard operation procedure review and dissemination ;
    • Compile data and prepare complex administrative and management reports that are mandated from higher echelons in the organization and/or the Department;
    • Monitor, coordinate, and track all on-going and projected actions and continuously update the staff;
    • Use qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques analyzes and evaluate the management practices and methods, and administrative operations of substantive organizations and complex functions;
    • Identify and analyze issues, problems, and challenges facing the organization; formulate and evaluate possible courses of action for resolving them;
    • Participate in surveys, studies, and other investigations of management practices and administrative operations;
    • Develop policies, guidelines, instructions, and procedures for administrative and management requirements; and explain the potential impacts, and benefits of the change.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    To qualify at the GS-12 grade level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level, which must include the following experience: preparing, reviewing, and monitoring personnel requests using a variety of automated programs; recommending improvements to improve efficiency of operations and preparing reports to track hiring actions and provide status updates.

    Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
