    All jobs Equipment Engineering Intern- Semiconductor Processing Equipment Engineering Intern- Semiconductor Processing Durham, North Carolina, United States · Equipment Engineering Description Job Description: Equipment Engineering Intern Semiconductor Processing Job Code: Location: Research Triangle Park, North Carolina Department: EquipmentEngineering Reports To: Equipment Engineering Manager Supervises: None Summary: The internship will focus on learning maintenance on process equipment and assisting the equipment engineering team in various tasks to support our Class 100 and class 1000 back end of line (BEOL) semiconductor processing cleanrooms. Process equipment that would be supported, includes thin film deposition, wet processing, photolithography, dry etch, electroplating, and metrology equipment. Additional duties may include facility related maintenance projects as well. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Hands-on equipment maintenance in a BEOL facility Participate and execute periodic maintenance events for equipment and facilities Organize work areas and inventory spares Employ standard troubleshooting protocols Other Duties & Responsibilities: Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Comply with all quality and ITAR policies, practices and procedures. Build meaningful and productive relationships with internal business partners. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications: US citizenship or permanent resident alien status is required. Currently enrolled and working towards a B.S or B.A. Willingness and ability to complete hands-on, mechanical work Knowledge of wafer processes equipment, with experience working in a cleanroom environment is a plus. Experience with AutoCad a plus. Job Skills: Excellent hands-on mechanical skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Should be able to collect and summarize information in EXCEL tables Proficient in Microsoft Office Capable of generating technical reports Salary and benefits commensurate with qualifications and experience
