Responsibilities MSTS Nuclear Engineering is offering several internships at various locations in the Forward Areas of the Nevada National Security Site. Key responsibilities include:Provide technical system field support for a variety of short-term projects (includes, but is not limited to, data acquisition, recording, control and checklists, and other documentation)Candidate will utilize skills in Mathematics, Chemistry, English, Calculus, Physics and/or introductory engineering coursesProvide basic MS Office skills needed to assist Engineering StaffConduct research and reference reading to assist higher-level engineers/technicians in obtaining technical information and discovering better methods of operationMake field investigations by performing walk downs of drawings/documents using established methodsStay abreast of current national standards, codes and develop input data for procedures to perform maintenance or operations Overview If youre looking for an interesting, fulfilling career, youve come to the right place!
