Intern II New York District Attorney's Office 49 reviews - New York, NY Internship Position summary: The New York County District Attorney's Office has an immediate opening for an Intern II in its Forensic Accounting & Financial Investigations Bureau (FAFI). In this position the Intern is responsible for providing assistance by interpreting financial business records to the Investigator. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Examine various bank records, credit card and/or brokerage statements using Excel; * Schedule and analyze flow of monies; * Review case material to ensure receipt of documents for the purpose of analyzing, summarizing and interpreting complex financial business records; * Organize files; * Support Investigators on an individual basis as part of a team; * Perform tasks as assigned. Qualifications: * Sophomore, junior, senior or graduate level; * Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills; * Proficient in Excel; * Working knowledge of CFIS; * Prior Internship with a government/prosecutorial or law enforcement agency.
