City Marshal Branch: City of North Richland Hills Location: North Richland Hills, TX 76180 Department: Municipal Court Division: Municipal Court Days Worked: Job Status: Full-Time Rate of Pay: Status: Until Filled Details: Salary: $49,763/yr to $61,712/yr depending on qualifications Job Description The purpose of this position is to manage and oversee the operations of the Municipal Court Warrant Division. This is accomplished by ensuring all policies and procedures are followed, providing security protection to the Citys Court personnel and visitors, executing arrest warrants on wanted fugitives, transporting prisoners, serving Summons and Subpoenas, managing operational activities, supervising personnel, and maintaining records and reports of warrants issued. This position provides direction to other employees. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities City Marshal - Six months/one year of advanced study or training past the high school equivalency required. Minimum three years experience as a peace officer in local government with progressive responsible experience in a Municipal Court (Bailiff, Security Screening, and Serving Warrants) is strongly preferred. Minimum two years supervisory experience. Valid Texas Class C Drivers License, Current Master Peace Officer Certification from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) in good standing, TLETS Certification, Valid Court Security Specialist Certification or the ability to obtain certification within one year of employment.
