    UCS-23 EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT STATE OF NEW YORK UNIFIED COURT SYSTEM PLEASE POST ANNOUNCEMENT NO. 11813 POSITION TITLE: PRINCIPAL COURT ANALYST JG: 23 LOCATION: SUFFOLK COUNTY DISTRICT ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE BASE SALARY: $ 71,586 +LOCATION PAY $4,100 CLASSIFICATION: NON-COMPETITIVE/CONFIDENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: One year in the Senior Court Analyst title; or Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of relevant experience; or Masters degree in Public or Business Administration from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of relevant experience; or An equivalent combination of education and experience. DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF WORK: With substantial independence from supervision, Principal Court Analysts work individually or as team leaders on projects that involve research and confidential analysis, planning, and other related work in one or more of the following areas: budget development and court finance; personnel administration; resource allocation; and court system management and administration. As team leaders, Principal Court Analysts supervise Senior Court Analysts, Court Analysts, and Junior Court Analysts assigned to a single study component of a large and complex project. ASSIGNMENT: This is a supervisory position responsible for overseeing facilities management and the fiscal and purchasing units; duties include all aspects of tenant work and related budget processes and reporting; review of quarterly County reimbursement claim; preparing annual facility and maintenance contract; assisting in the planning and implementation of capital and court facility improvement projects; corresponding with department supervisors to assess their facility needs; processing of building service requests; performing on-site evaluations of court facilities in the county; handling facility issues on a daily and emergency basis and overseeing fleet services. In addition, this position will have supervisory responsibilities in the fiscal department including review of vendor payment vouchers in the Statewide Financial System (SFS); ensuring supporting documentation is present and complies with internal fiscal controls and UCS policy; processing of travel expense vouchers in compliance with the UCS Financial Planning and Control Manual; and supervision of personnel responsible for the procurement of goods and services in compliance with purchasing rules.
