DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF WORK: Management Analysts are responsible to the Director of the Office of Court Administration's (OCA's) Management and Planning Office, or to other court administrators and administrative judges, for supervising a number of on-going projects involving confidential research, analysis, planning, and policy formulation related to court administration and management. Management Analysts also participate in complex projects under the direction of Senior and Principal Management Analysts, work with substantial independence from supervision on individual research projects, and perform other related duties. ASSIGNMENT: This position will be assigned as a manager and project leader within the Nassau County District Administrative Office. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: liaison between court administrators and the District Executive to resolve managerial issues; assisting with counseling local court managers in operational and administrative procedures; acting as a resource to court managers and staff and as a liaison to subject matter experts within OCA; training and directing staff on district policies and procedures; providing management expertise and leading the implementation of best practices in the various departments within the district office; management and oversight of Human Resources functions including responsibility for implementing policies and ensuring compliance with best practices; and assisting with district fiscal operations.
