Key Responsibilities

As a Navy Optometrist, you'll provide comprehensive eye care services for active-duty service members, retirees, and their families. Responsibilities include routine eye exams, diagnosing and managing ocular conditions, prescribing corrective lenses, and helping ensure the vision readiness of operational forces.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited institution

• Active and unrestricted U.S. Optometry License

• U.S. Citizenship

• Between the ages of 21 and 64 (Federal Law: Title 10 U.S. Code section 531 and 532)
