This position is contingent upon award of contract.

PAR Government is searching for an Engineer/Scientist with an active TS/SCI security clearance, to support our growing work with a government customer in Dayton, Ohio.

The engineer will perform technical research on foreign satellite subsystems and components and assess their capabilities. Results will be delivered through technical reports, tabulated datasheets, and informal communications. The engineer will aid NASIC in developing an understanding of in-depth technical details of individual subsystem and components to improve the fidelity of satellite design products and body-of-knowledge. The engineer will work as a member of a team which includes other engineers, intelligence analysts, and managers.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Thorough understanding of working in research, development and production environments
• Background in satellite remote sensing applications and operations
• Demonstrated knowledge of remote sensing principals and applications with satellites

Required Skills Required Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in a field such as Engineering, Physics, Statistics, or a related field
• Prefer 5+ years of engineering and/or science experience
• Active TS/SCI Clearance
