Starting Total Annual Compensation: $126,883 to $178,461

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and treat foot, ankle, and lower extremity conditions in service members and their families, including bunion deformities, torn ligaments, and stress fractures. Perform both surgical and non-surgical podiatric procedures, prescribe orthotics, and partner with orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, and other health care providers as part of a multidisciplinary medical team. Support the health and readiness of service members in both operational and non-operational settings, including humanitarian missions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of a college of podiatric medicine accredited by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education
• Current licensure in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia required upon entry onto active duty
• Completion of a three-year Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency
• Board Qualified/Certified status recognized by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine or the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery
• U.S. Citizenship
• Between the ages of 21 and 57 (Title 10 U.S. Code section 531 and 532)
