    The Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) of Brightli is growing and hiring our next DEI Business Partner in the St. Louis Region of Missouri!

    Brightli, the parent company of Burrell Behavioral Health and Preferred Family Healthcare, is one of the largest nonprofits providing behavioral health care and recovery services in the United States. Care is delivered, at Burrell and PFH, through nearly 5,000 team members in five states and at more than 200 locations.     We are searching for an engaging and effective DEI practitioner and collaborator to implement and maintain the organization's diversity, equity, inclusion initiatives and strategy, in our St. Louis Region, while supporting the overall DEI mission of Brightli. This role reports to the head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Brightli, and is a member of, and collaborator with, the St. Louis Regional Leadership team to bring Brightli's companywide DEI strategy to life through tangible action tailored to specific regional needs

    Your role:

    As a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Business Partner, you will implement and maintain Brightli's DEI Strategic Plan within the St. Louis Region, in collaboration with the Regional Leadership team and the Office of DEI.

    You will:

    • Maintain a strong working knowledge of diversity-related issues, policies, legislation, and best practices.
    • Bring the DEI Strategic Plan of Brightli (mission, goals, objectives, etc.) to life in collaboration with regional leaders, programs and community members.
    • Maintain an excellent working relationship with key stakeholders (Regional President, Chief Operating Officer, Human Resources, leadership team, People Leaders, employees, community, etc.) to collaborate in deploying and maintaining strategies for DEI, including but not limited to:
      • Employment: recruiting, retention, training, employee relations, engagement communications, employee satisfaction and feedback,

      • Collaborating closely with HR in support of employees, culture and the organization,

      • Program: engagement, support, training, satisfaction, feedback.

      • Collaborating closely with all operational leaders to support employees, clients, the community and the organization.

      • Client Experience: engagement, support, training, satisfaction, feedback.

      • Collaborating closely with Client Experience leadership and teams, as well as clients and the community.

      • Community: engagement, support, training, satisfaction, feedback.

      • Collaborating closely with the community to best support inclusive employment and care. Coordinating organizational involvement, and leading participation, in community events. These events may fall outside of the typical work week and time adjustment will be discussed with the supervisor.

    We think you'd be great for this role if you have:

    • a Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field or Human Resources required; Master's degree preferred and open to considerations of sufficient years of service in the human services field.
    • Human Resources or related experience required with at least three years specializing in equal employment opportunity, affirmative action, and diversity programs
    • a Diversity and Inclusion certificate (preferred)
    • an HR certification such as SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP (preferred)
