    YOUR ROLE AT PFH:

    As a Payroll Specialist, you are responsible for receiving and reviewing payroll summaries, imputing payroll data, and balancing reports to process payroll deposits and print paychecks.    You will:

    • Adheres to all PFH policies and procedures including, but not limited to, the HIPAA Privacy Rule.
    • Inputs payroll data including hours worked, paid time off, and applicable deductions into payroll processing software, balances payroll report to master worksheet.
    • Prints live pay checks and/or direct deposit statements as needed for each completed payroll; ensures delivery of checks and statements to associates.
    • Processes associate change paperwork by properly recording data in the electronic human resource information system.
    • Prints checks-on-demand for termination requests, bonus requests, or corrective checks.
    • Informs applicable team members if associate net earnings are insufficient to cover applicable deductions for insurances or advances.
    • Completes filing of payroll or personnel forms, as needed.

    WE THINK YOU'D BE GREAT FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE:

    • A high school diploma or General Education Degree (required);
    • A bachelor's degree in an applicable field such as accounting or human resources from an accredited institution (preferred).
    • One to three years of experience providing payroll/human resource supports or other applicable experience is required.
    • ADVANCED SKILLS IN COMPUTING INCLUDING USE OF HRIS SYSTEMS, SPECIFICALLY WORKDAY, REQUIRED.
