    YOUR ROLE AT PFH:

    As a Human Resources (HR) Associate, you are responsible for supporting a variety of business units by providing administrative support to the HR Department as well as providing excellent customer service to all associates seeking human resources guidance. You will have the unique opportunity to provide administrative support through an HR lens. This role primarily assists with responsibilities such as conducting new-hire orientation, issuing ID Badges, coordinating the associate gift program, updating personnel files, HRIS data entry, ongoing background check requirements and other projects as assigned.

    You will:

    • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Team, working closely with HR Partners and the Director of Human Resources to achieve departmental goals/initiatives as well as provide excellent customer service to associates seeking human resources support/guidance.
    • Conduct New-Hire Orientation for staff in assigned region(s); must be able to communicate, interact and present to various large groups of people.
    • Assist with approving data entries/processes and entering information into the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) as needed.
    • Coordinate associate gifts in accordance with company policy/procedure for staff in assigned region(s).
    • Create photo identification badges for staff in assigned region(s) utilizing ID badge software and routes to the appropriate associate or supervisor.
    • Complete personnel filing, including medical filing for staff in assigned region(s). This includes filing for associates as well as contractors/students/volunteers.
    • Complete ongoing background check requirements for staff in assigned region(s):
    • Complete employment and income verification requests for staff in assigned region(s) in a timely manner.
    • Respond to all unemployment protests for staff in assigned region(s) by gathering information regarding terminations from terminated associate personnel files and supervisors and ensures information is accurately submitted within the electronic system. Assist supervisors with hearings as required.
    • Assist in organization, participation and discussion of HR events such as recruitment efforts, hiring fairs, wellness fairs, HR Team Meetings, Leadership meetings, etc.

    WE THINK YOU'D BE GREAT FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE:

    • A high school diploma or equivalent certificate (required).
    • Two (2) years of administrative experience (required)
    • One (1) year of human resources experience (preferred)
    • Excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude and a passion for serving an incredible team
