As a Behavioral Health Technician, you are responsible for a range of tasks to ensure the well-being and progress of your clients/patients with mental health and developmental disabilities. You will:
Assessment and Observation: Identify client strengths, needs, abilities, and preferences
Therapeutic Interventions : Contribute to the implementation of therapeutic strategies and interventions to support the client's well-being and progress.
Medication Management : Collaborate with trained nursing staff to ensure the proper administration of medications, whether self-administered by the client/patient or administered by healthcare staff.
Admission and Orientation: Welcome new clients/patients, which may include tasks such as taking vital signs if necessary, conducting safety searches, and collecting specimens for testing
Daily Activity Support : Assist clients/patients in daily activities, ensuring their well-being and comfort.
Transportation: Provide client/patient transportation as needed.
We think you'd be great for this role if you have:
High School education or equivalent and two (2) years responsible employment history
A reliable vehicle to transport clients
