    YOUR ROLE AT PFH:

    As a Prevention Specialist, you are responsible for providing prevention and early intervention services to local school districts and communities, this can include: completing prevention plans, classroom instruction, small groups, assessments, referral facilitation, individual and parent prevention services. You will:

    • Deliver approved prevention curriculum in multiple school districts.
    • Plan and prepare lessons, including gathering necessary teaching tools to enhance the delivery of prevention curriculum.
    • Provide individual and group services in school, camp and community setting.
    • Document all services provided in accordance with the contract and complete requested outcomes for groups and individuals by the 5th of the following month.
    • Provide prevention training to administrators, educators, other faculty, students, family members, and community members.
    • Consult with building administrators and counselors on prevention plan implementation by semester and turn in prevention plans to clinical supervisor.
    • Attend all trainings required by the agency, funders, evaluators and the Missouri Credentialing Board
    • Conduct on-site assessments and make referrals as appropriate. Collaborate with administrators, educators, counselors, and other personnel to ensure supportive environment for all students receiving treatment.

    WE THINK YOU'D BE GREAT FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE:

    • Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in social work, counseling, public health, education, psychology, community development, public administration or a closely related field. OR

    • Graduate from a high school or have a GED AND ○ At least two (1) years experience in the human services field
