YOUR ROLE AT PFH: 

As a Crisis Counselor, you are responsible for providing support and resources to those impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. This position networks with outside organizations, agencies, and groups to identify persons in need and how to reach them. You will:

• Work with individuals, families, and groups to provide outreach, emotional support, individual and group crisis counseling, public education, and referrals when needed. 
• Represent the program and network with other agencies and partners to ensure needs of survivors are met. 
• Provide presentations for community groups on disaster reactions, coping skills, stress management, and the disaster response program. 
• Serve as the point of contact for members of community-based coalitions, teams, and task forces in the assigned geographic area.
• Demonstrate interest in long term and short term goals and objectives of the company.

WE THINK YOU'D BE GREAT FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE: 

• High School education or equivalent and two (2) years responsible employment history; OR 
• Exceptions to the qualifications listed may be made by the appropriate Executive Team member.
• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age to operate a company vehicle.
