    YOUR ROLE AT PFH:

    As a Therapist, you are responsible for providing prevention and early intervention services to local school districts, this includes training, curriculum (groups and presentations), assessments, referral facilitation and consultation, and reporting/ documenting outcomes as needed by funder.  You will:

    • Responsible for initiating annual strategic plans with district to establish need in order to establish needs.
    • Provide training, consultation, education, and referrals for Team of Concern's universal and targeted interventions.
    • Responsible for developing interventions utilizing evidence based curriculum to be used during summer camp.
    • Provide direct services to students that support health decision making, address emotion management, build social skills, increase resiliency and decrease the likelihood of alcohol and other drug abuse. These services include but are not limited to large classroom presentations, ongoing small group education, and individual skill building with students.
    • Work with school staff to identify students who are displaying at risk behaviors to assist in providing intervention or referrals to other services.
    • Complete consent forms and intakes for students and protect the confidentiality of students and families served, while also ensuring that agency policies and procedures in regards to confidentiality is respected and followed.

    • High School diploma; AND
    • Current student pursuing a degree in Social Work, Counseling, Criminal Justice, Psychology, or Human Services related field, etc.
