    YOUR ROLE AT PFH:

    As a Psychiatrist, you are responsible for specializing in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of mental illness and/or substance abuse in both adults and adolescents. You will:

    • Ensure clinical excellence of medical services such as evaluations and medication management provided by the agency to clients, employees, and the community, in a manner consistent with the fiscal responsibilities of the agency.
    • Provide individual medical psychotherapy, psychiatric evaluations and diagnosis, medication reviews, psychiatric consultations, staff supervision including APN collaborative practice and observation orders.
    • Responsible for improving clinical outcome and treatment effectiveness and increasing the agency's overall cost-effectiveness of care.
    • Provide availability of services in the solution of emergent problems involving clinical considerations, including on-call responsibilities.
    • Develop an active communication strategy with the clinical staff to ascertain staff and client medical needs are met.
    • Responsible for assuring compliance with PFH's code of ethics in an effort to maintain the ethical integrity of the agency as a whole when dealing with client issues.
    • Serve as the collaborating Physician for three (3) to six (6) nurse practitioners/ physician assistants.

    WE THINK YOU'D BE GREAT FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE:

    • A current physician, with surgeon's license, and board certified psychiatrist license to practice in the state of Missouri.
    • Applicant must currently have Data 2000 Waiver, or be willing to obtain upon hire.

    Applicant must be willing to become licensed in additional states, other than the state currently licensed in. Applicant must be willing and comfortable with providing telehealth services to the individuals we serve.
