    YOUR ROLE AT PFH:

    As Social Media Marketing (Prevention) Specialist, you are responsible for the success of the departments social media practices as well as serving as the primary source for technical assistance support, related to substance use prevention, for community coalitions to facilitate the development of community coalitions capable of making changes in substance use patterns in their community.

    You will:

    • Create and disseminate social media messaging campaigns

    • Post to department's social media platforms

    • Work with customers to help build their social media presence

    • Train customers how to be sustainable in their social media practices

    • Create platform content

    • Work with department staff to create and edit marketing campaigns, ads, infographics, etc

    • Assist the Mega Grant Prevention Specialist and serve as a point of contact for DMH community coalitions, teams, and task forces in the assigned geographic area for culturally competent capacity building/sustainability efforts.

    • Provide coalitions with T/TA on capacity building campaigns, sustainability efforts, and cultural competence awareness.

    • Provide coalitions with T/TA on evidence based programs, practices, and policies to reduce youth substance use.

    • Other duties and projects as assigned by Housing Supervisor, and/or Executive Team members.

    WE THINK YOU'D BE GREAT FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Computer Science or related field.

    • Two (2) years proficient experience in social advertising and reputation management

    • Two (2)- Four (4) years of proficient experience, with a minimum of 2 years of experience with paid social advertising and reputation management.

    • Experience with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, and Snapchat that includes a solid understanding of each platform's core features, as well as a technical understanding of each network's advertising capabilities.

    • Experience working with Facebook Business Manager and Ads Manager, including ad placement, budget management, pixel creation, offline event sets, and advanced reporting.
