    Maximus is currently hiring for enthusiastic and engaged Provider Relations Coordinators to join the program. In this position, you’ll be working on a supportive team to manage and maintain Practitioner appointments and workflows. The coordinator will be the first line of support and coordination for the provider relations team. This position is customer-service-focused and ensures consumers’ issues are resolved in alignment with program policy and protocol. We’re seeking individuals who are people-oriented with great customer service skills, a great eye for details, efficient work practices, and strong attention to detail.

    About the Program:

    Maximus administers the Independent Practitioner Panel (IPP) program. The purpose of the IPP is to complete assessment reviews and issues practitioner orders for New Yorkers who qualify for long-term in-home care. This is an exciting new program that directly contributes to positive long-term outcomes for vulnerable populations in New York State.

    Education and Experience Requirements

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Lead special projects with cross-functional teams to implement project management processes and applications related to reporting solutions based on stakeholder inputs.
    • Maintain and distribute various data reports and information to staff and external sources as required
    • Oversee all staffing needs in collaboration with external agencies
    • Create, develop and maintain policies, procedures, and manuals.
    • Monitor and interact with end users and cross-functional teams to assist in technical troubleshooting Remedy Help Desk tickets to provide resolution results.
    • Liaise with agencies to fill vacancies in a timely manner Identify and conduct interviews for the hiring of internal staff
    • Track open requisitions and collaborate with agencies to fill
    • Support candidate screening process by arranging interviews as needed
    • Intake all agency clinician schedules
    • Transcribe clinician schedules into MaxEB
    • Communicate with agency and credentialing team to determine readiness for onboarding (Submitting Tickets, Scheduling Training with IT and NYIA training, closing loop of communication between training complete with Readiness Checklist/Pulse Check and CM/Scheduling Coordinator)
    • Assign time off and breaks in MaxEB as requested by clinician
    • Schedule IT installation appointment with clinician Manages/Monitors Vendors relationships and compliance to SLA Request IT hardware, connectivity and applications needed for role
    • Confirm with clinician all devices and ID badge have been received
    • Track progress of onboarding process completion steps (initiated, in progress with estimated completion date or complete)
    • MD/DO Onboarding and Support Researches and actively participates in conferences, association meetings, job fairs, and provider recruitment opportunity events as needed

    Minimum Requirements:

    • High School diploma or equivalent and Four (4) years of related experience OR an Associate’s Degree with at least two (2) years of related experience.
    • Previous experience in a customer service environment
    • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
    • Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously
    • Ability to work both as a team member as well as independently

    Pay Transparency

    Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
