    Maximus is currently hiring for enthusiastic and engaged Provider Relations Specialists to join the program. The Provider Relations Specialist is responsible to ensure optimal results in education, servicing, and ongoing relationship management with Maximus Clinicians in assigned programs. The incumbent will develop a comprehensive knowledge of Maximus and Clinical practices to develop and manage an engagement and partnership strategy, focused on creating a sense of community and to develop and direct implementation of adequate provider education/training activities for IPP/IRP providers ensuring provider satisfaction and issue resolution. This position will also assist with Recruiting and Vendor Management assigned to Clinical Hiring.

    *This is a fully remote position located in the state of New York.

    About the Program

    Maximus administers the Independent Practitioner Panel (IPP) program. The purpose of the IPP is to complete assessment reviews and issues practitioner orders for New Yorkers who qualify for long-term in-home care. This is an exciting new program that directly contributes to positive long-term outcomes for vulnerable populations in New York State.

    Education and Experience Requirements

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Acts as primary point of contact for IPP/IRP providers as assigned to provide technical assistance, and act as a conduit for all operational questions and issues.
    • Collaborates with Operational Support Unit (OSU) to address clinical operational issues and/or concerns as needed
    • Responsible for making scheduled visits remotely/in person as assigned to provide training and education on Maximus policy and procedures as necessary, ensuring provider/consumer satisfaction and operational readiness/success
    • Engages IPP/IRP providers as required to assist monitoring turnaround time to ensure Service level Agreement (SLA) adherence
    • Assists with provider outreach between Medical Director and Clinical Manager to Clinicians as needed
    • Assists the Operations Support Unit and Credentialing teams with maintaining accurate Provider Data Files and availability
    • Assists with the recruitment of Clinicians in collaboration with Human Resources and Vendors as applicable
    • Collaborates with Human Resources and Vendor(s) to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies ensuring robust pipeline of candidates across platforms as needed
    • Ensures recruitment is aligned with geographic/program needs
    • Collaborates with Marketing and Communications Teams to design and create branded recruiting materials and ads
    • Partners with Credentialing team to ensure credentialing/re-credentialing standards are maintained
    • Partners with Training Department to ensure ongoing 1:1 training as needed, recommending remedial/refresher training as necessary and act as first point of contact for clinician’s system accessibility issues
    • Researches and actively participates in conferences, association meetings, job fairs, and provider recruitment opportunity events as needed
    • Works with leadership to ensure IPP/IRP program needs are being maintained
    • Maintains Provider Profile Data Base (MaxEB)
    • Responsible for appropriate documentation of recruitment and relationship management activities in tracking system
    • Monitors, inputs, manipulates, and presents dashboard/activity as needed
    • Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting to Management/Credentialing/Operations Support Unit
    • Meets all standards established for this position as outlined in the corresponding annual performance criteria and bonus template for this position
    • Performs other duties as may be assigned by Management.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • 3+ years of Health Plan Provider Relations, Recruiting and Vendor Management experience required.
    • Knowledge of online recruiting tools and sourcing applications.
    • Knowledge of Credentialing preferred.
    • High degree of technical knowledge and proficiency in navigating between multiple systems.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize job duties.
    • Experience with CRM's is preferred.
    • Excellent attention to detail exhibited through written, oral and documentation job responsibilities.
    • Ability to thrive in remote work environment.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Visio, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
    • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.

    Pay Transparency

    Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
