    The Quality Assurance (QA) Reporting Intern - Summer 2023 will leverage quantitative and independent research skills in the analysis of quality data to identify and assess potential process improvements. This role will be a key member of the quality management team supporting data management, client reporting, quality control, and problem resolution. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to our organization and the tools and processes we use to evaluate the data utilized in strategic decision-making.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Work with the Quality Assurance Program Analyst and Management team to analyze data collected during the assessment of process accuracy.

    • Compile, interpret, and document statistical data on project performance and adherence to policies.

    • Perform independent gap analysis and identify business process enhancements.

    • Develop reports and high-quality presentations suitable for leadership and clients.

    • Responsible for adhering to established safety standards.

    • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for an extended period of time.

    • Occasionally lifts, carries, or otherwise moves items weighing up to 25 pounds.

    • Work is constantly performed in an office environment.

    • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

  • Qualifications
    • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in a related major.

    • Must have completed a minimum of 2 years of college coursework.

    • Strong analytical skills.

    • Background or interest in health policy, statistics and quantitative analysis, or related field.

    • Strong skills in the MS Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

    • Proven ability to meet commitments and manage expectations.

    • Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.

    • Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously

    • Ability to work as a team member as well as independently.

    • Experience querying structured data sets using SQL, SQL Developer, Toad, Microsoft Business Intelligence Development Studio or similar preferred.

    • Experience with OBIEE, Microstrategy, Cognos, Business Objects or Microsoft Reporting Services preferred.

    • This position requires permanent U.S. work authorization. We are unable to hire candidates that are temporarily authorized to work for a defined period (e.g., for a job/internship under OPT/CPT).
