    Maximus is currently hiring for a Quality Control Coordinator to support the Independent Practitioner Panel Program (IPP), which completes assessment reviews and issues practitioner orders for New Yorkers who qualify for long-term in-home care.

    The Quality Control Coordinator is the first line of support and coordination for the timely completion of quality control. This position is customer-service focused and ensures consumers’ issues are resolved in alignment with program policy and protocol.

    Education and Experience Requirements

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Perform quality check on all types of call interactions
    • Perform quality check on all IPP OSU tasks
    • Work with other departments on special requests
    • Ensure daily and monthly tasks are completed and reported timely
    • Identify trends, address issues and gaps in processes with Lead / Supervisor
    • Develop improvement recommendations for processes
    • Research and respond to inquiries
    • Perform root-cause analysis of QC audit findings
    • Provide recommendations to QC Supervisor and Operations Support Unit Manager
    • Research and respond to inquiries related to findings, policy clarification and interpretation in a timely manner
    • Detects, research, and reports suspected cases of internal and external fraud, abuse, and waste
    • Meets all standards established for this position as outlined in the corresponding annual performance criteria and bonus template for this position
    • Perform other duties as assigned by QC Supervisor and Operations Support Unit Manager

    Minimum Requirements:

    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum 1 year of eperience in a customer service environment
    • High level of computer literacy
    • Ability to learn new software prgraoms quickly and intuitively
    • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
    • Must be able to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously
    • Ability to work as a team member as well as independantly
    • Ability to produce quality work within established deadlines

    Preferred Requirements

    • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree
    • Experience with scheduling and using scheduling software
    • Experience in a call center environment
    • Minimum 1 year of quality assurance/control experience
    • Bilingual preference in Spanish, Russian, Mandarin, Cantonese, Haitian Creole, Korean, Bengali

    Home Office Requirements:

    • Candidates must have their own cell phone
    • Candidates must be able to supply their own personal computer equipment (desktop or laptop, tablets are not compatible)
    • Reliable high-speed internet service (mobile hotspots not allowed)
      • Minimum 20 Mpbs download speeds/50 Mpbs for shared internet connectivity
      • Minimum 5 Mpbs upload speeds

    Pay Transparency

    Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards.
