  • Responsibilities
    • Assisting with the operation and navigation of the vessel as directed by the Captain by reading the compass, navigational charts and other Marine instruments.
    • Ensuring the vessels are kept clean and seaworthy.
    • Verifying the accuracy of information received by telephone/radio for transmission.
    • Standing on gangway watches to prevent unauthorized persons from boarding ships while they are in port.
    • Inspecting vessels to ensure efficient and safe operation of vessels and equipment, and conformance to regulations.
    • Maintaining a record of vessel activities and other require data in the ship log,
    • Lowering and manning lifeboats when emergencies occur.
    • Carrying out maintenance and repairs around the vessels on a daily basis.
    • Loading or unloading luggage and materials in and out vessels.
    • Assist Security reporting any unusual or suspicious movement in and around any property associated with COMO Parrot Cay.

    Required Skills

    • Ensure regular on board jobs are completed to a high standard.
    • You are responsible for checking and keeping the first aid kit up to date.
    • Exercise all care and responsibility for all guest luggage.
    • As a crew you are required to assist with loading and unloading of the vessels.
    • Participate in company provided training and professional growth opportunities.
    • All other reasonable task as requested by Management and your immediate supervisor.
    • A proactive learner with an interest in the latest technology
    • Must speak and understand English.
    • Willing to work weekends.

    Required Experience

    • Must have High School Diploma or equivalency and some level of higher education
    • Must have at least two years boating experience
    • Must be have some knowledge of boating operation, safety and first aid procedures
