    The Information & Technology Services department is looking for a self-directed individual with demonstrated technical, team orientation and interpersonal skills in a System Support Analyst I role. This is a 4 day  a week onsite and 1 day remote schedule position. The ideal candidate installs and configures servers, workstations, provides second level technical support services, and:

     

    1. Interfaces with internal and external stakeholders to support servers; engages business and technical stakeholders in pursuit of business solutions and mutual goals; acts as system administrator for applications; contributes to projects design and implementation.

    2. Analyzes business requirements and provides recommendations for server security enhancements; completes servers performance and capacity planning; backup systems; implements network and server security checks, system installations and updates.

    3. Implements and manages virtual servers, storage area networks (SAN) systems and related storage systems; executes contingency and disaster recovery plans.

    4. Contributes to business planning and interprets business objectives; supports business process designing, redesigning and integration of operational practices, studies business and technological trends.

    5. Tracks and develops reports, data, tracks projects, forecasts financial projections; remains current with industry trends and sustainable practices; generates communication and learning plans on processes; supports other team members; performs related support and other duties as assigned.

    Required Experience

    EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

     

    1. Graduation from a college or university with a degree in computer science, management information systems or a closely related field.

    2. One year of experience in server and associated systems.

    3. Or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

     

    IDEAL COMPETENCIES:

     

    1. Windows OS 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, Teams, Autopilot, Adobe, Bluebeam, Symantec, F5.

    2. Strong hardware trouble shooting skills.

    3. Exceptional writing and speaking skills to construct a compelling business case and promote organizational objectives and brand.

    4. Strong relationship-building, interpersonal and collaborative skills.

    5. Strong organizational and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment experience.

    6. Ability to deliver targeted results to specification at cost and on schedule.

    7. Experience with BMC TrackIT administrator or other ticketing services.

    8. Experience with conference solutions like Crestron, Yealink, other.

    9. Team delegation or project management skills.

     

    DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS, THE HIRING SALARY IS $69,675.
