    Maximus is seeking a Senior IV&V (Independent Validation & Verification) Analyst to join our IV&V practice to provide independent oversight for large scale systems implementation.

    Please note, this role comes with 50% travel requirement expectations.

    Job Description Summary

    The Senior IV&V analyst supports the IV&V project team participating in the activities that provide independent assessments of the system development/implementation/M&O project and its governance. These activities will include identifying risks and issues, accessing causes of risk and issues, providing actionable recommendations that can be used by the project team to resolve issues/avoid risks, and supporting required reporting to federal funding partner agencies.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    •The Senior IV&V Analyst reports to the to the IV&V Lead
    •The Senior IV&V Analyst shall:
    •Actively participate in data collection and analysis for monthly, quarterly reporting, and project deliverables
    •Actively participate in project meetings to collect and record observations, findings, project information and data, understand project activities
    •Interview State project and DDI contractor staff to collect project information and data, understand project activities, and gain project insights
    •Actively participate in the analysis of project information and data collected
    •Actively participate in the development of required project deliverables to include weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as well as reports required by federal funding partners in compliance with IV&V contract requirements
    •Support the presentation of results of IV&V assessments to project stakeholders
    •Support meeting facilitation or conference calls
    •Adhere to contract requirements and comply with all corporate policies and procedures
    •As directed by the IV&V Manager, lead special projects or initiatives
    •Perform other duties as assigned

    Project Specific Requirements

    •Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical and/or project management roles on large-scale systems integration projects.
    •Experience in large scale Government/Health and Human Service legacy transformation projects involving eligibility, service delivery, and/or case management with large scale data transformation
    •Professional presence, ability to interface with executive sponsors, IT resources, management teams, and stakeholders on a regular basis to interview and gather information and data to support analysis
    •Experience providing formal business and/or technical analysis
    •Minimum of 3 years' experience delivering IV&V or independent quality assurance services or working on projects that had IV&V or QA oversight
    •Strong analytical skills
    •Excellent verbal and writing skill
    •Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university; experience may be substituted for educational credentials.
    •Proficiency in Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project

    Preferred

    •Experience in Health and Human Services(HHS) public sector IT
    •Experience with Child Welfare Programs
    •Experience Comprehensive Child Welfare Information Systems (CCWIS) or Statewide Child Welfare Information Systems (SACWIS)
    •Experience with enterprise level Systems Integration project(s)

    Job Summary

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Support leadership in ensuring the project is delivered to specifications, on time, and within budget. - Develop initiative strategies for provider capacity building such as evaluating business models, creating training, recruitment, events participation, outreach approach, and support activities. - Work closely with management and work groups to create and maintain work plan documents. - Track the status and due dates of projects. - Manage relationships with project staff responsible for projects. - Produce regular weekly and monthly status reports, work plan status, target dates, budget, resource capacity and other, as well as, ad hoc reports as needed. - Collaborate with project managers on various initiatives and projects to track progress and provide support as necessary. - Create and maintain management plans and other deliverables. - Facilitate regular meetings and reviews. - Evaluate employee performance and recommend employees' needs and development opportunities to leadership. - Adhere to contract requirements and comply with all corporate policies and procedures. - Perform other duties as assigned by management. Minimum Requirements: - Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years of experience consulting within designated function. - Advanced degree preferred. - Develop solutions to highly complex problems which require a high degree of ingenuity and innovation. - Ensure solutions are consistent with organization objectives. - Solutions may serve as precedent for future decisions. - Develop advanced concepts, techniques, and standards requiring a high level of interpersonal and technical skills. - Develop new applications based on professional principles and theories. - Viewed as expert in field within the organization.

    Pay Transparency

    Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
