    The STAKEHOLDER & OUTREACH SPECIALIST is a supporting role within the Clinical Services division. This position will deliver in-person and virtual presentations to multiple stakeholders across the state of North Carolina, from small groups to organizing large events. Working on content and writing for communication programs. The ideal candidate is a dynamic professional with strong organizational skillset and multitasking.

    This is a remote opportunity with travel requirements within the Raleigh, NC region as needed. *This is a bid requisition. Role contingent upon contract award.

    JOB SUMMARY

    • Create and edit a wide variety of unique communications materials with tailored messaging based on analyses of target stakeholder audiences and business objectives. These materials may include presentation materials, email communication campaigns, informational guides, and website content.

    • Collaborate with internal leadership, subject matter experts (SMEs), and state partners to ensure that all communications and presentation materials are clear, accomplish program objectives, and meet corporate brand standards.

    • Coordinate planning with leadership for in-person and virtual quarterly and ad-hoc stakeholder engagement events across the state.

    • Create and present targeted, engaging presentations to a diverse variety of stakeholder groups

    • Develop effective communications campaigns and messaging timelines that help strengthen stakeholder understanding of available program resources and reinforce various change management initiatives.

    • Content maintenance on stakeholder support websites including training information, support guides and other resources.

    • Build and edit a wide variety of unique external communications materials with tailored messaging based on analyses of target audiences and business objectives.

    • Conduct a brand adherence check for all new program support collateral developed (presentations, email communications, print flyers, event advertisements, sell sheets, stakeholder guides, and other support pieces) across various programs.

    • Advise management on strategies to leverage communications materials in a manner that helps achieve business objectives.

    • Act as liaison between stakeholder audiences and program leadership team when necessary, communicating information such as training registration details and process best practices through various channels, such as email, in-person and online events.

    • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in a related area such as Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, English or Technical Writing with 3+ years of relevant experience.

    • May have additional training or education in area of specialization.

    • Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope & complexity.

    • Applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    • Basic to intermediate web content management skills.

    • Communicates on complex or sensitive issues or drafts such responses for program leadership team.

    • Contributes to the completion of organizational projects & goals.

    **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum 3 years of experience in community outreach and presentations and/or public relations

    • Minimum 3 years of experience in writing and/or content development

    • Experience organizing large events

    • Strong organizational skillset and multitasking

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills

    • Experience in the Healthcare industry preferred

    • Basic to intermediate web content management sills (Squarespace, Drupal) preferred

    • Willing to travel within the Raleigh, NC region as needed

    PAY TRANSPARENCY

    Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation.
