    Licensed Practical Nurse Salary $33,960.00 - $57,493.00 Annually Location Harnett County, NC Job Type Permanent Full-Time Department Dept of Public Safety Job Number 19-00020 Closing 1/10/2019 5:00 PM Eastern Description of Work Position is located at Harnett Correctional Institution which is a medium custody male facility in Lillington, NC which houses 988 inmates. Position provides professional nursing care and treatment to an inmate population patients in accordance with medical protocols. Work includes conducting needs assessments; implementing treatment plans; and providing patient care and education to inmates in a state correction facility. Position requires sick call assessments, medication administration, phlebotomy sticks, transcribing MD/PA orders, patient education, thorough medical documentation, monitoring and treatment of communicable diseases, and responding to emergencies. Individuals may be required to work all shifts, weekends and holidays with limited clinical supervision.
