Learning Management System Support Specialist Human Resources Division 100 N. 15th Avenue Phoenix AZ 85007 www.azdoa.gov JOB SUMMARY: The Department of Administration Technical Training Infrastructure team is seeking a Learning Management System Support Specialist to manage the day-to-day and ongoing operation, maintenance, usage, analysis and administration of the State of Arizona Learning Management System (LMS) and its integrated tools and software. The Technical Training Infrastructure team ensures a reliable, safe, secure and scalable Learning Management System that meets the needs of the state while providing end user support and serving as a catalyst for user group administrators and instructional designers to increase their knowledge and know-how of the system. The ideal candidate can work well with individuals at different levels, be able to translate technical concepts into business terms, and have an eye for detail. Primary Responsibilities include: * Serve as subject-matter expert and advisor on LMS functionality and processes * Manage security roles and user access permissions * Manage the end to end implementation of system updates and modifications * Manage integrations with 3rd party systems * Generate system reports and create custom reports * Provide second and third tier support for incidents, problem resolution and troubleshooting * Respond to and resolve requests from internal and external users * Train user group administrators and instructional designers on key system functionality, administrative tasks and processes * Work with content owners to troubleshoot content integration issues and assist in resolution * Develop a library of end user resources and training as well as policy documentation and standard work * Analyze existing processes and makes recommendations for improvements * Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS * 3+ years experience administering a Learning Management System and related technologies is required. * 3+ years demonstrated curriculum management experience (large complex and changing programs) is required. * 3+ years experience documenting and articulating system workflows and functionality is required. * Advanced authoring software skills such as Storyline 360, Knowledge Presenter, Captivate, Photoshop, After Effects, Camtasia * Experience managing digital assets, databases, web design and portals is preferred. * HTML and/or SQL is preferred but not required * Project management experience is preferred * Bachelors degree (BA or BS) or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS: * Candidates for this position will be required to submit to a criminal history investigation. * Requires possession of and ability to retain a current, valid state-issued driver license appropriate to the assignment.
