All MDT Interns must be enrolled in a College, University, or Tech School to be considered. One intern will be hired from this posting and will work at the Yellowstone Airport. The work schedule will be 40 hours a week during the summer. Duties: 50% Airport Operations and Maintenance 50% Airport Administrative Intern will be exposed to: * Assist the Airport Manager with various Administrative Tasks * Tenant Relations * 14 CFR Part 139 Requirements- Certification of Airports * Ground Vehicle Pedestrian Training * Assist Chief of Operations with various maintenance tasks * Self-inspections * NOTAM reporting * Airfield and facilities maintenance * 49 CFR Part 1542 Airport Security Sections that intern will be rotating through: * Airport Management * Airport Operations * Airfield Maintenance * Business and Properties * Wildlife Hazard Mitigation * Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting Competencies: Knowledge and skills required for this job will come from college level course work in Aviation Management, Aeronautical Science, or similar aviation concentration. Must be currently enrolled in College, University or Tech School; recent grads (no more than 6 months past graduation) can apply but note that preference will be given to applicants that are currently enrolled. Acceptable majors are: Aviation Management, Aeronautical Science, or similar aviation concentration.
