You must apply online to be considered. -Overview -This position will be working in the Pavement Design Unit of the Highway Safety and Design Section at the Vermont Agency of Transportation. The primary function of the Pavement Design Unit is the development and design of project plans, specifications, and estimates for projects that focus on preserving or improving roadway condition. Specific duties will include performing design work, plan development, as well as aiding in the progression of plan development. The ideal candidate will have an interest in plan design and development through MicroStation and InRoads, the ability to work on multiple projects at a given time, and strong communication skills.
