Purpose of Role: The position is responsible for managing a Team, comprised of non-exempt warehouse associates and a fluctuating temp staff, by setting direction and motivating them to meet or exceed business and team goals. This is a temporary position for the night shift. Partner with Day/Night Shift Warehouse Team Leaders and Managers, Customer Service partners, and other Warehouse Support Groups to develop plans to meet or exceed performance measurements. Requirements: The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in leading the Team to * Meet customer order demands and inventory accuracy. * Partner with other Team Leaders to expedite the wave closing process. * Report performance against goals daily, weekly, and monthly. * Review staffing to ensure that the appropriate coverage is available to support volume and recommend adjustments accordingly. * Coordinate daily tactical planning with other Team Leaders and Support Groups through problem solving and decision-making processes. * Manage multiple tasks while maintaining daily operations. The accomplished individual will possess * High School diploma or equivalent * Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisor level position in a warehouse/distribution center environment * Ability to manage and direct team function with little or no direct supervision
