Now, about you Tehama, LLC is actively seeking an Mid Environmental Specialist for a position at the Parks Reserve Forces Training Area (PRFTA) located near Dublin, CA. The primary duties of the Mid Environmental Specialist include leading a wide variety of environmental compliance projects as they relate to hazardous materials, storm water and water resources, solid waste, air emissions, petroleum, oils and lubricants (POL) and NEPA on a military installation. Must have an understanding of laws, regulations and reporting requirements related to the above topics. Will be responsible for developing compliance reports, plans and environmental permits in collaboration with senior level personnel. May also conduct environmental compliance audits in the areas listed above. Will perform agency required reporting, such as hazardous materials reporting and storm water discharge compliance reporting. While not a supervisory position, the candidate must have the ability to provide guidance to junior level staff.
