Contingent to specific conditions there may be an opportunity to be noncompetitively converted to a career-conditional or career appointment.Learn more about this agency### Responsibilities Serve as Manager of a Central Issue Facility (CIF) managing a main facility at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.* Incumbent serves as the command appointed Accountable Officer of a Central Issue Facility, (CIF), Stock Record Account for the CIF and Accountable Officer for the CIF materials, with the responsibility of ensuring accountability of property.* Plans, directs and manages the Organizational Clothing and Individual Equipment ordering, receipt, storage, issue and accountability of covered in Table of Allowances of clothing and individual equipment supporting soldiers and army civilians. Additional information about transcripts is in this document.Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Manage supply facility and goods utilizing automated property system to process turn-in and disposal transition for an organization. 2) Apply supply regulation, policy and procedures required to track transaction. 3) Maintain inventory ensuring accountability of equipment; issued, receipts, storage and safeguarded of organization assets. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).OR****Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Supply Chain Management. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)ORCombination of Education and Experience**: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12.
