Responsibilities The selected candidate will be responsible for duties to include (but not limited to): All Grades: * Uses software programs to collect and analyze data sets. * Participates as a member of study or project teams analyzing private sector business/industry operations. * Participates in group discussions and delivers presentations and speeches. * Responds in writing to inquiries and offers additional information to respondents. * Collaborates with multiple stakeholders and relevant parties inside and outside the organization (program offices, industry, project partners, contracting officers, senior management, and internal agencies) to successfully bring about the completion of projects * Communicates statistical analysis in oral and written reports For GS-9: * Performs research and analysis of financial, trade, and/or economic data and information on a specific topic or issue within a larger project or assignment. For GS-11: * Support multiple, concurrent projects requiring assembling and interpreting business/industry information. OR To qualify for the GS-09 Trade and Industry Analyst based on education, you must possess: * A Master's or equivalent graduate degree or * 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or * LL.B. or J.D., if related GS-11- Applicants must meet at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is defined as having experience providing written summaries of research and analysis; successfully supporting multiple, concurrent projects; and experience using software programs to compile and organize data drawn from a variety of sources. OR To qualify for the GS-11 Trade and Industry Analyst based on education, you must possess: * Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or * 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or * LL.M., if related Equivalent combinations of education and experience are qualifying for all grade levels for which both education and experience are acceptable.
