Position: This position is located in the Department of Behavioral
Health Acute and Outpatient Services, Service of Child and Adolescent
Psychiatry at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) in
Bethesda, MD. Position is being filled using EHA - Critical Need Health
Care Occupations. Responsibilities * Perform the full range of clinical
social work and case management services for child and adolescent
patients suffering from a wide variety of complex behavioral health
conditions. * As a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team, the
employee will provide professional consultation, and collaboration with
other professional and paraprofessional staff in an outpatient treatment
setting. * Serve as a social worker case manager and patient advocate,
providing advanced practice clinical, administrative, and organizational
skills in managing the continuity, access, and provision of care
services for complex behavioral health patients. * Conduct comprehensive
assessment of child and adolescent patients, to establish in detail and
specificity, the nature of their care needs, as well as causal and

document . Basic Requirement for Social Worker: Degree : Master's degree
(or higher degree) in social work from a school accredited by the
Council on Social Work Education. In addition to meeting the basic
requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the
qualification requirements listed below: License: A current, active,
valid, and unrestricted independent social work clinical licensure from
a U.S. State, District of Columbia, Commonwealth, territory, or
jurisdiction is required. Specialized Experience: One year of
specialized experience which includes providing case management to child
and adolescent patients; providing evidence-based practices; assessing
and treating bio-psycho-social conditions; and providing individual and
group therapy. This definition of specialized experience is typical of
work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal
service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your
education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job,
you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone-no
