Qualifications You qualify for the GS-09 grade level if you possess one of the following: Experience : One (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-07 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as: * Applying inspection and compliance principles, concepts, methodologies, laws, regulations, guidelines and/or practices in daily activities * Documenting investigation findings and witness statements * Researching data using prescribed methods OR Education : A master's (or equivalent graduate degree such as a L.L.B/J.D.) or 2 academic years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree. OR Combination of Education and Experience : A combination of successfully completed post-high school education and experience. This will be calculated using your resume and unofficial transcripts or a list of courses/course hours submitted with your application. You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one of the following: Experience : One (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-09 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as: * Assisting the team leader or supervisor in planning inspections and participating in briefings with team leaders at inspection sites * Ensuring inspection findings provide complete identification of deficiencies and areas of concern * Developing sound recommendations which identify the appropriate level of the problem, and the type of corrective action necessary to fix the problem * Preparing written inspection findings to team leaders or supervisors OR Education : A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree such as LL.M or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree. OR Combination of Education and Experience : A combination of successfully completed post-high school education and experience.
