Inspects the grading, paving and repaving of streets, maintenance, repair and construction of sewers and appurtenances, house sewer connections, retaining walls, streets and street openings. Investigates complaints and reports on findings. Works in testing laboratory plants for asphalt or concrete and checks all materials used based on quality and grade. Minimum Qual Requirements License Requirement Must possess a motor vehicle driver license valid in the State of New York. This license must be maintained for the duration of employment. Additional Information THERE ARE NO FORMAL EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION Candidates should be able and willing to work night shifts as needed. Candidates should be able to work in all five boroughs. The Apprentice (H & S) Inspector position is an apprenticeship program with various salary levels.
