Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Illustrator include: Develop briefings, brochures, multimedia presentations, web pages, promotional products, technical illustrations, and computer artwork for use in products, technical manuals, literature, newsletters and slide shows, as needed. Design complex graphics and animation, using independent judgment, creativity, and computer equipment. Make objects or characters appear lifelike by manipulating light, color, texture, shadow, and transparency, or manipulating static images to give the illusion of motion. Create two-dimensional and three-dimensional images depicting objects in motion or illustrating a process, using computer animation or modeling programs. CONTINGENT UPON AWARD ***Bowhead is looking to speak to experienced professionals for this opportunity, which is contingent upon award and not currently funded. Requirements BS Degree and a minimum of three (3) years training or experience in the use of computer graphic tools to develop presentations, documents, video or similar media to convey technical, engineering and facilities information. Capable of using computer aided design systems (such as AUTOCAD) and tools to develop technical illustrations. Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team. SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
