    Major Duties

    • Conducts, reviews, and provides expert analysis regarding demand/supply chain performance issues and when required, coordinates with functional process analysts and subject-matter specialists throughout the enterprise.
    • Analyzes and manipulates data regarding past, present, and projected demand/supply chain activity.
    • Monitors, analyzes, and evaluates implementation of accepted proposals for improving KPIs, metrics, and other demand/supply chain performance critical data to ensure the demand/supply chain area is meeting its performance targets.
    • Create and maintain SAS (Viya, SQL and QLIK) and similar software computer programs for the purpose of collecting data and generating reports.
    • Recommends improvements based on analyses and/or trends.
    • Perform extensive coordination regarding demand/supply chain performance and trends to leadership, and other management team members.

    Qualification Summary

    To qualify for a Demand and Supply Chain Analyst your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Utilize demand/supply chain application systems and software to develop, input, manipulate, extract, and maintain automated information and/or programs. Apply and adapt analytical techniques and evaluation criteria to investigate, analyze and evaluate activities data within the demand/supply chain area. Analyze demand/supply chain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as Fill Rate, Material Availability, Unfilled Orders, Administrative Lead time, Delinquencies and Logistics Response Time and others. Develop analytical reports by using multiple data sets/tables and software tools when gathering and analyzing data. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
