Qualification Summary

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Progressively responsible experience and training that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties above and as detailed below: Expert knowledge of government and Military Family Readiness Programs regulations, policies, principles and procedures, in order to advise and to make recommendations for revision to and/or establish new regulations, policies, or procedures for the integration of Family programs. Comprehensive, thorough knowledge and understanding of the substantive nature of the justification, acquisition, and operation of MWR Family programs and processes, and the interrelationship among these programs. Comprehensive knowledge of program oversight to include program funding. Expert knowledge of a broad range of qualitative and quantitative methods for assessing and improving program effectiveness and complex management processes. Expert skill in written and oral communications in order to prepare written guidance and decisions; to present sensitive recommendations to higher authority; to obtain compliance with policies from subordinate activities; to explain and defend decisions to the MWR personnel, contractors, or higher level officials. Knowledge of command structure, missions, programs, and organizational relationships and a thorough knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methods and techniques to develop, manage, and implement studies and analyses of such scope to involve/effect the various organizations. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Master's Degree in Social Work with 5 years of experience post graduate degree with at least 2 years in a public family and children's services agency, 1 year of which is in prevention, intervention, counseling or treatment of child abuse and domestic abuse. Family Program experience at a large installation, regional command, or headquarters compiling and analyzing data to include service delivery, human resources, and financial. Experience MUST be reflected on your Resume at the time of application and Transcripts/Certifications MUST be uploaded to the Documents section to be considered for Standard and/or Highly Qualified for this position.
